You can enroll your child at NO COST in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Operation Bigs mentoring program for military families.
In this program, Big Brothers/Big Sisters meet with their Little Brothers/Little Sisters once a week at MCAS community center.
The Bigs and Littles read together, play sports, board games, or simply talk about life - just as friends do. The focus is on building a friendship, but through this friendship, stronger literacy and social skills are developed.
To be eligible to participate in Operation Bigs, your child must be: 7 – 11 years old and attending elementary school, a military dependent and able to make a one year commitment. Progam meets at Milcon Community Center at MCAS.
