PTA MEMBERSHIP
The Hage PTA would like to invite you to join us in supporting the Hage PTA by making a difference in the education and quality of life for all of our children. We realize how important your children are to you and that you want the best for them.
In order to help our children and their families, Hage PTA sponsors programs that are not paid for by the San Diego Unified School District. Did you know that the Hage PTA currently pays for field trip buses, family nights such as the Hage Dance and movie nights, as well as the fall carnival and ArtCorps art show? The Hage PTA also helps teachers with supplies and by purchasing student magazines such as Scholastic News and Time for Kids.
The Hage PTA goals for the 2009-10 school year are simple:
1. We want to help our school become more family friendly, a place where students and their families
feel welcome and part of the Hage family.
2. We want to be able to continue to fund all of the programs we currently have in place.
3. Continue to support our students in the arts and physical education (via the Swimming program and ArtCorps)
When you become a member, your support will bring us closer to accomplishing these goals. Our dues are $10 per member (checks payable to Hage PTA). You can join Hage PTA by filling out the PTA Membership envelope (you may pick one up in the front office) with your membership dues and return it to your child’s teacher or the office today!
Sincerely,
Jessica Peterson, Hage PTA President
PS: Joining PTA does not require you to come to meetings or volunteer “all the time”!
You can do those things with or without membership!
